In 2008, the 150th anniversary of Gundlach Bundschu, the oldest family-owned winery in California, finally inspired it's sixth generation vintner to start blogging after years of talking about it. Jeff checks in regularly about life in Sonoma and in the wine business.
Meanwhile, Jeff's father Jim has been writing Tales of Rhinefarm (his musings about life on and off the farm) for nearly 20 years as part of the wine club newsletter. He can't quite figure out what's so new about putting it on the internet and calling it a blog.
Winery staff write occasional guest posts as well.
