A new piece of Banksy street art recently popped up in the UK.
Not familiar with Banksy? Do yourself a favor and watch this.
↬The Lonely Villan
Only three quick tidbits today because I've had a busy week:
1. Check out my friend Rod's documentary about this legendary musician (yes, that musician and don't let me catch you rolling your eyes).
2. Ever wonder how much money an indie musician actually makes?
3. Shout out to the band Conveyor who started following me on twitter. I really like this song.

"Myth" - Beach House
I know I gave you the link for this song last week but now that it's available on Spotify, I had to officialy add it to our playlist. I absolutely love the sound of this Baltimore duo, their last album was one of my favorites of 2010. This track is from their new album Bloom which will be released in May.
"Swinging Party - Kindness
Kindness was recommended as a "Band We Like" in the latest Oh My Rockness email: "This is so good that I'm seriously thinking his upcoming album World, You Need a Change of Mindon Terrible Records (the Grizzly Bear guy's label) is going to be a modern day alt-dance-pop classic."
"Talkin' Back To The Streets" - People Under The Stairs
I'm not sure how I ended up dropping this track into my "Gun Bun Possible" playlist but I love their old-school sound. This Los Angeles hip-hop group has released eight full-length albums and this track is from their most recent, Highlighter.
"Skinny Love" - Birdy
I recently caught Birdy's performance of this Bon Iver song on Conan. It's hard to believe she is only sixteen years old. This track is from an album covering popular indie hits that she released last year to great success in the UK. You can also find Birdy singing on the Hunger Games soundtrack.
"Guttersnipe" - Bhi Bhiman
The website American Songwriter turned me onto Bhiman and upon further exploration, I was pleased to find out that we share a hometown. Wowza - what a voice. I have been listening to this song over and over again.
Bonus Huichica 2012 artist preview: "Too Young To Burn" - Sonny & The Sunsets
Check out this fabulous video of Sonny & The Sunsets at last year's Huichica. Note: nominal membership fee required to view website.
